As a designer I offer a spectrum of services from graphic design to sustainable decor solutions. My foundation in painting has made me aware of the workings of light and shadow therefore giving depth in what I design. I find this as a cyclical process where painting has become an index of my growth as a designer. My approach to design is rather organic and I credit that to my love and keen observation of nature. The detailed lessons that nature teaches me, has been intrinsically woven into my design thinking and sensitized me as a designer.

While working on major branding projects in Singapore with Happy Marketer and The Stripe Collective I learned that brands have a voice that is expressed not just in its packaging but also in its spaces. Said differently, it was the time when I realised my strong interest in designing the 3 dimensional. I validated this interest with aptitude while doing several art direction projects with brands like BODYMED and ACG. I found that orchestrating spaces and designing custom decor was an integral part of how I visualize a brand.

My collaboration with architects, interior designers, photographers, craftsmen, copywriters and videographers has made me certain that there are several overlaps between specializations within the design industry and with each project I do I look to engage and collaborate with the design community to make the end result holistically fulfilled.

10 years on as a professional designer, I am now eager to tie together my global exposure in design and explore a bigger radius of the design industry and build on my skills and interests.
